Going for Goal Minutes couldn’t be simpler. Here’s all you need to know about Game Three.
Team selection
Game Three will run from Saturday 11th February to Monday 12th March. You must pick 10 players from the list of Premier League squads. Four of your players must be classified as forwards, four must be classified as midfielders and two classified as defenders (goalkeepers are excluded from the game on the basis they don’t score that often!) You can pick a maximum of one player from each squad. Our easy-to-follow online entry form makes it a doddle to submit your entry.
How the scoring works
Simple - points are awarded for each minute that your chosen players score in. For example, if Darren Bent scores his only goal of the game in the 30th minute, he is awarded 30 points. If he scores in the 15th and 60th minutes of a game and no more, he’s awarded 75 points. Zero points are awarded if a player does not score in the game. The maximum points that a goal can be worth is 90. Premier League goals only. Own goals do not count. Nor do goals in extra-time or penalty shootouts (i.e. 90 minutes only).
